It’s no secret, with the evolution of social media and influencers came thousands of fitness and dieting options thrown at us from every direction. All promising to “fix us”, guaranteeing us dramatic results and ultimate happiness with our bodies.

But not without a cost. financial cost of buying dozens of specialty, hard to find ingredients. Hours in the kitchen creating wholesome, clean, picture perfect, weekly meal prep (only to sit in the fridge for days bc they taste like unseasoned cardboard). But the most costly of all—a damaged relationship with food, a yo-yo approach to dieting, and broken sense of self-worth.

I can say it with such certainty because that was me. For years. I tried it all.

Which was the driving force for me to create SOMETHING realistic AND enjoyable (that would lead me to lasting results I was looking for), without the misery of eating the same bland meals on repeat. So i created these recipes for myself, and now i share them with you.

WHICH COOKBOOK SHOULD I CHOOSE?

EVERYONE’S BODIES REQUIRE DIFFERENT AMOUNTS OF CALORIES AND WILL VARY BASED ON INDIVIDUAL GOALS, ACTIVITY LEVEL, AGE/WEIGHT, ETC. I personally have found more success by not obsessively counting calories, but instead learning my body, my hunger/fullness cues, and being mindful of my portions.

in my heat + eat cookbook i include a full mindful eating guide to help you learn some of these techniques, but i also include a formula/tutorial on how you can find your own calorie deficit if you do choose to track your calories, as i know everyone is different!

HOW MANY CALORIES DO I NEED?

I have a 12 week schedule laid out for you for 5 days a week (of course you can modify or work up to this). Each workout is no longer than about 25 minutes but on some days your schedule may recommend pairing 2 workouts together a cardio workout + a main workout). If you can't do it all at first or you don't have time that's totally fine, plan is yours to keep forever so no rush to get through it!

HOW LONG ARE THE WORKOUTS?

I personally follow the same plan for close to 9 months, each time I finish a round of the plan, I go into another round with the goal of increasing my weights and/or decreasing my rests. There are plenty of workouts that will be effective for FAR longer than just 12 weeks!

All you have to have is a set of dumbbells! I have an equipment page in the plan that lists + links all other optional equipment.
The workouts are challenging but meant to be worked up to, that's what makes my plans so effective. I do include on screen modifications for some of the higher intensity exercises along with a modification chart in the plan.

This is a good option for those who just want to pick + choose workout videos. The plan is a lot more extensive and includes

The new plan, Pretty Fit, will guarantee free challenges for all of 2025! (The purchase of Glow Up plan guaranteed free challenges for all of 2024). I wish I didn't have to have a
"cut off", but because all of the 2025 challenges will correlate with the new plan I have to enforce this transition each year. I offer these extensive challenges for FREE, even just getting to participate in 1 free challenge is a great deal!
